While none of the puzzles are necessarily exceptional, they can certainly be mind-bending, requiring players to think in new ways. Toontruck is a great example of the old-school adventure genre, with heavy reliance on object interaction puzzles and lots of task-chaining. But Toonstruck brings other characteristics to the table, like the wild, Looney Tunes animation style that avoids almost all straight lines and the continued reliance on bad puns for some great writing. Much of what sets this title apart from other adventure games is the interaction between full-motion video and animation. After being sucked into the animated program "The Fluffy Fluffy Bun Bun Show," live-action animator Drew Blanc (played by none other than Christopher Lloyd) must work with animated characters to find his way home and save their world in the process. The 1996 adventure game Toonstruck is much like Who Framed Roger Rabbit ? in that players are a live-action character partnered with a cartoon rabbit trying to solve a mystery.
